One Day Rural Yoga Retreat

 Latimer Park Farm, Chesham, Bucks

10am - 5pm October 18th 2014 and April 25th 2015

  

A day of yoga, good food and friendly company in the rural setting of The Chiltern Hills in South Bucks. These one day yoga retreats are open to all whether you regularly come to my classes or not, live locally or plan to travel from further afield. You certainly don't have to have masses of experience as with yoga you simply enjoy what you can do and and not worry about what you can't. Its a great day for singles, couples, groups of friends, men and women, young and young and hearts so please join us!

 

Over the years our retreats have proved to be really enjoyable days both for us organising them and for the participants many of whom are now becoming regular and enthusiastic attendees. Its a great way to meet new people, improve your sense of physical and mental fitness and enjoy some good homemade food which we have often been able to serve outside in the pretty courtyard outside The Old Dairy.

My yoga retreats are suitable for everyone from beginners to those with experience of yoga as every pose and sequence can be adapted to suit the individual. With yoga you simply work at your own pace and enjoy what you can do without worrying about what you can't! You will have the opportunity to develop your practice during a varied morning session. We will combine some dynamic flowing yoga designed to build flexibility, stamina and strength. The morning class will be followed by lunch and the opportunity for the group to take a walk in the scenic surroundings of Latimer Park Farm.

                                  

After our country ramble, the afternoon class will be more restorative and focused on relaxation. It will comprise yoga gently, breathing techniques and deep, guided relaxation known as yoga nidra. Your will get to know some lovely people, enjoy some beautiful scenery and should return home feeling as though you have been on holiday.

 We really do try to make the retreats affordable to as many people as possible.

£60 includes all drinks, snacks and a delicious freshly prepared lunch and homemade cakes!

When booking please reference with your contact information in order to receive confirmation of your booking and travel details. Anyone travelling from London without their own car has been able to share lifts with other participants who I can put you in touch with nearer the time of the yoga day alternatively it is very easy to get to Chalfont & Latimer station on the Metropolitan Line from Bakers Street or The Chiltern Line from Marylebone - from there its a short cab ride or we can arrange to collect you. Those travelling by care are welcome to use the car park adjacent to The Old Dairy building.
