RETURN VISIT TO GOAN COAST PLANNED FOR WINTER 2012
Escaping the last throws of the British winter, last year I taught my first yoga holiday in India. We found a peaceful setting for our morning and evening yoga sessions away from the more hectic tourist areas and by creating this bespoke yoga holiday we were able to immerse ourselves in a whole range of relaxing activities. including Ayurvedic treatments, therapies and massages, fabulous walks along the Goa's swathes of spotless white sand beaches, wonderful freshly prepared local cuisine and swimming in the warm waters of the Arabian sea. For local colour and atmosphere there were vibrant markets and lively towns to visit and unearth a treasure trove of Indian fashions, fabrics, spices and jewelery, early morning boating to watch the dolphins and afternoon tea spent lounging in bohemian style cafes on the palm fringed waterfront.
For winter 2012 I am planning a return visit to this fantastic region.
