Yoga in Pregnancy
Its vitally important to feel supported and nurtured throughout pregnancy while at the same time building strength and flexibility. Pregnancy yoga is perfect for this.
I teach pregnancy yoga in a flowing breath led way that will leave you feeling more physically, emotionally and mentally confident and prepared as you progress through each trimester of your pregnancy.
Practicing pregnancy yoga is also a valuable tool to help you to prepare mentally for motherhood, and brings the wonderful benefits of self care to the benefit of both you and your baby.
Pregnancy yoga is often taught as a slow, sometimes static activity. However my five pregnancies and experience as a yoga practitioner over 30 years, has taught me how important it is for women to build up strength and stamina. It is vital to feel active and empowered during this unique time in our lives.
During pregnancy yoga classes we will practice poses and sequences that will help you to breath better, improve your posture, while also helping to create space physically and emotionally for your baby for your baby to thrive. We will also have the chance to relax and focus on empowering meditations and breath work plus have time to discuss privately any concerns.
