MORE ABOUT MY PORTOBELLO COMMUNITY YOGA CLASSES in NOTTING HILL
I have beening running my Tuesday & Friday community yoga classes for the past 15 years in Notting Hill.
The Notting Hill yoga classes take place in a light airy room, overlooking a pretty courtyard & above the popular Farm Girl Cafe in Portobello Road. Thus providing the perfect spot for a post yoga rose latte!
My Notting Hill yoga classes are tailored to all ages & abilities.
Please note students are encouraged to sign up for a term (usually around 13 weeks). This lends a sense of commitment & ownership of the class week by week. It also helps to make them viable for me to run & with regular attendance they are a great way to get to know some local people in Notting Hill.
My Notting Hill community yoga classes are interchangeable – once signed up, students can switch days if needed or catch up a missed class by attending twice one week. Any missed classes must taken in the existing term.
I know that not all students can make the weekly commitment, therefore subject to space & booking in advance, I can accommodate a few drop in students.
I work hard to create a practice that can be adapted to suit all-comers. The yoga will comprise the spectrum between dynamic & deeply restorative yoga gently. I make it clear you can do as much or as little as you please.
I don’t belong to any particular school of yoga & I teach in a spontaneous, non-dogmatic way. Students work at their own pace with a strong emphasis on taking what they need that day from the practice and leaving out what they don’t.
Flowing hatha yoga with modifications offered to suit the individual levels of students and pranayama (breathing techniques). This will be followed by a guided relaxation or visualisation meditation.
